Doom 2 columbine wad download7/30/2023 I don't comment the wad where I died/stopped. I play until I die or intentionally stop. Even still, this is inarguably on the better end of vanilla maps, and there's nothing obscene about this WAD, just standard Doom mapping at its finest. The difficulty in particular feels spot on for what I feel should be 'normal', with the most difficult part being the end segment with the cyberdemon, note I said segment and not fight, since while the textfile thinks that avoiding that section makes me a coward, it was not fear that compelled me to avoid the fight, just my attention span, since I really do not feel like fighting a cyberdemon without cells under any circumstances if I can help it. Although it contains a mixture of wide outdoor areas and more compact interior techbase/hell areas, it always manages to have a strong sense of place, and more generally give the player options when it comes to positioning. You can never go wrong with a Chris Hansen map, and this one manages to get just about everything right, but the one point that it really manages to emphasise is a sense of scale.
